How to Make your own Bath Salt
EPSOM SALT REMEDIES?
Did you know that Epsom salt is not actually a salt? It’s actually a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate.
Epsom salt baths are an easy and ideal way to enjoy their amazing health benefits.

How to make Bath Salts
INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon pure cane sugar
2 teaspoons honey, raw
4 drops lavender essential oil
1 teaspoon lavender buds
4 lip scrub pots
THE PROCESS:
step 1: add 1.5 cups Epsom salt to medium-sized bowl
step 2: add 6 tablespoons sea salt
step 3: add 1/4 cup baking soda
step 4: (optional) add 1/2 teaspoon blue lake coloring
TIP: Blue lake coloring is to color the bath water. You can leave this out of the bath salts if you’d prefer.
step 5: (optional) 1/4 teaspoon silver mica
step 6: mix well and break up any clumps so that the dry ingredients are a uniform mixture
step 7: measure out 2 teaspoons of apricot kernel oil into a small bowl
step 8: add the following essential oils
12 drops sweet orange essential oil (also known as wild orange or orange essential oil)8 drops frankincense essential oil8 drops myrrh essential oil tip: Prefer to use different essential oils?
step 9: (optional) add 1 teaspoon polysorbate 80
TIP: If you are using the blue lake coloring and/or silver mica, you may want to add 1 teaspoon polysorbate 80 to help distribute the oils and colors in the bath water. Polysorbate 80 will help the coloring to easily drain from the tub with the bath water.
step 11: mix well
step 12: scoop the bath salts into three 8 ounce jars
step 14: print free printable labels and put it on your jars
